F/V Dillon B

The F/V Dillon B is equipped with the state of the art, latest, navigation equipment from Simrad and Nobel Tec. He is powered by a Volvo Penta 330 hp D-6, Lenmar TT185 5.0 80lb thrust bow thruster, and Yamaha 25hp kicker motor. The boat is very stable and hosts the largest cockpit/fishing platform in our San Juan fleet, which gives plenty of room to haul and stack gear. 

The crab gear starts off with a 27gpm , shaft driven, hydraulic pump. Pulling in the gear in a 14” Hydro slave crab block, along with a Warren Junes line coiler. My favorite option is the Yaquina Piranha bait chopper aka “ the difference maker”

Meet the captain

Corey Joyce

I started commercial fishing in Alaska right out of High School. I spent many years chasing Salmon, bottom fish, and crab. In the off season I would spend time looking for the infamous “Spot Shrimp”. I set my first pot in the early 90’s and has been my favorite fishery ever since. I have been navigating boats in the San Juan Islands for over 30 years, and can’t get enough. I built the F/V Dillon B in 2014 to start my own Puget Sound crab business. Over the past 5 seasons I have learned the harder you work, the more crab you catch…. I work hard!
